West Sayville Christian School
launched its 5th annual "Serve-a-Thon" on Wednesday, September 14,
2011. Each grade of students, from kindergarten through eighth grade
has committed to performing various specific acts of community service
throughout the school year.
As last years service project the 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade worked with
Gods Provision, packing food and distributing it along with a turkey
to local senior centers. The 5th and 6th grades crocheted quilts for
orphans in Peru and the 7th grade worked at a toy drive at a local
church. Check back to hear about this years projects. Please pray
for the Lords blessing over the children's service. |
